Im sitting in the saddle in the kentucky opening day for deer as I write this. Wanted to use it in a real world scenario before reviewing. This unit is so light weight and not bulky that if you saddle hunt you definitely need it. I use a rockform case so no need to attach the metal plate that they include such a solid connection. Your phone will not fall off while on this! Also I added stealth straps to this to camo it up and make it super quiet to slide my phone off
Received the phone mount and was able to give it a test run. The first two things I noticed was the quality of construction, it is obviously durable and will absolutely stand the test of time. Second the magnet included to secure your phone to the mount is strong. I took the steel plate and slipped it in between my phone and phone case and the phone remained solidly secured. I grabbed the bridge shaking it violently and the phone still remained solidly attached. Anyone who has spent some time in the woods understands how nice having a phone with you is. Even better when it’s secured right in front of you on your bridge. I can literally have my phone in front of me and scroll, text, and video as well. At the same time my hands are free for when the time comes. I also think it is a great device for your range finder as well. The opportunities are endless and look forward to continue to see all the capabilities of this convenient, well made product.
