I bought this to hold gear with a new saddle setup. I needed something to hold my bow and a gear bag, while being light and simple to use. Seems like this checks all of the boxes. Veteran owned, made in USA, well made, great communication. Exactly as described. The video on using the product was great as well. This was a little pricey for what I wanted but it checked every box and I think it was worth every penny. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and I'd do it again.
I’ve tried many gear hanging systems over the years. I’ve used many of the popular hunting brands systems, and have also made a few of my own. After trying the wayward wire, I’ll never use another system to hang my gear with. This is the perfect gear hanger. It’s simple, light weight and well thought out. It’s also super durable, holds a ton of weight and takes up hardly any room in your pockets, saddle pouches or your pack. Can not recommend it enough.
Don’t let the lightweight fool you… the wayward wire is a tank! Super simple to get on the tree. Holds my V3X 33, X2 Eberlestock pack with extra layers food and water, calls and my general hunting gear. It wraps onto itself for a compact package that fits in your pant pocket or your side saddle pocket. Can’t recommend it enough. 10/10.
